Kate Hudson’s ecommerce active wear brand Fabletics just turned three years old…
Kate is known to be a fitness freak. She maintains a slim and toned body and people go crazy over her bod. That is reason behind Kate Hudson bikini body being so very popular. She had opened an ecommerce active wear brand by the name of Fabletics. The company just turned three years old and Kate had a lot to say about it at the Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit held in Laguna Niguel, California.
“It is an exciting time for our company.” Fabletics is a primarily digital audience focused company. It offers a wide range of athletic gears and workout gears both for fitness freaks as well as casual athletes.
“We wanted it to be all inclusive. People don’t look to make things for women who are a bit bigger. I’m really excited for that. We perfected that right off the bat.” She says that the company makes athletic wears of different sizes and not just for slim and trim girls.
Hudson is an aerobics fan and looks like she might be using Fabletics products to get into that smoking hot body through her workouts. Unlike many other stars who are associated with top athletic brands like Rihanna’s association with Puma and Kanye West’s association with Adidas, she has her own line of athletic brand. Similarly Beyonce has Ivy Park and Carry Underwood had CALIA. Even Hollywood celebrity Hillary Swank is going to launch her own line.
The company was recently in muddy waters because of a complaint filed by one of the working members of the team of Fabletics. One of the employees, Talitha Peters, had taken a sick leave of two to three weeks to get rid of her addiction to sleeping pills. She was really stressed and the working environment at Fabletics was the reason behind it as stated by the employee. But when her doctor asked her to extend her leave to get rid of the addiction completely, her colleagues and the higher authorities at her office started questioning her medical condition. Apparently they tried to guess her medical condition based on the doctor she was seeing and concluded that she was addicted to some kind of illegal drug. Based on the assumption they fired her from the company. So she filed a case against the company at Los Angeles County Superior Court.
The company then said ‘Please know that we take the welfare of our employees extremely seriously and strive to create a happy and healthy workplace’ in its defense.
